Established in 2021, Seldom Creek Farm in Ada, Michigan is proud to be your local source for pastured eggs and meat. We use small-scale, sustainable farming practices to care for the health of the soil, insects, plants, and animals. Join us in eating good food raised well!
Jon and Rachael met in the spring of 2017 building a giant chicken coop so Rachael could scale up her egg business. They got married and moved to 20 acres in Ada Township in October of 2019.
The O'Brocks are excited to be able to offer high-quality pastured meat and eggs to the community.
Good as Gold Eggs, LLC provided pastured, organic eggs to the greater Grand Rapids area from 2016-2019. Customers including the Cherie Inn Restaurant, Field and Fire Bakery, and Egypt Valley Country Club enjoyed our eggs. In April of 2018, Good as Gold Eggs was awarded a Snail of Approval by Slow Food West Michigan for contributing to the quality, authenticity, and sustainability of the food supply in West Michigan. Now operating as Seldom Creek Farm, LLC, we are proud to continue to supply West Michigan with high quality food. The specialty hens we raise--such as Black Copper Marans, Lavender Orpington, and Ameraucana--lay colorful eggs. The rich, dark yolks are packed full of nutrients and flavor.
